EUCG's Spring 2021 Workshop Goes Virtual – April 19-21, 2021

Due to the ongoing health crisis and related travel restrictions, EUCG's 2021 Spring Workshop will be "Virtual". While we all wish that we could meet together in-person, we know that travel for our members is not practical at this time.

We were delighted with the tremendous success of the Fall 2021 Virtual Workshop which was our first workshop held virtually. With 210 attendees from 59 companies, it was the third largest workshop in the 47 year history of EUCG. EUCG will build upon the tremendous success of EUCG's Fall 2020 Virtual Workshop to make the 2021 Spring Virtual Workshop second to none. EUCG's committees have worked very diligently to put together agendas that are dynamic, timely, and will provide real value to our membership in best practices, benchmarking, and related topics.

The EUCG Board of Directors have made the important decision to keep the registration fees as low as possible to encourage as much participation as possible for all employees of our member companies. $199 for two and one-half days of sessions is a bargain by any measure. We encourage all of our members to invite their colleagues at their companies to attend one or more sessions of interest and have people that normally could not attend to the workshop to register and participate. What better way to demonstrate the value of your EUCG membership than to spread the word around your company and have your colleagues participate.

An exciting addition to the workshop will be the presentation of Best Practice Awards at the opening General Session on Monday, April 19th. Each EUCG Committee will award one Best Practice from the presentations at the Fall 2020 Virtual Workshop. Make sure to take time to look at the 2021 Spring Virtual Workshop Program at the link on this page to see the exciting and impactful sessions. Make sure that you look at all of the committee sessions as some may be open to non-committee members.

We are glad that you will be joining us!

Virtual Workshop Technology

EUCG is committed to providing every attendee the best workshop experience possible in this virtual setting. As we did for the Fall 2020 Workshop, EUCG will again be using WebEx to host the Spring 2021 Virtual Workshop. Many of you may already be familiar with and use WebEx. We have created instructions and tutorials to assist you in getting familiar with the application. We have been actively working with each committee to prepare meeting hosts and presenters, and will be offering the same training to any attendee who would like to be walked through the basics of a WebEx meeting.

WebEx training sessions will be held on Tuesday, March 30th and Tuesday, April 13th – both at 2:00 pm EST. Training session invites will be sent to each registrant for both sessions via email. Training is not required, but we encourage anyone unfamiliar with WebEx to attend one session in order to help enhance your virtual workshop experience. Both training sessions will be identical, so you only need to attend the session that fits your schedule. If you have any other WebEx questions, or technical concerns, please contact Don Kaiser (kaiser@eucg.org) or Lindsay Stranzl (lstranzl@eucg.org). Our goal is to make sure that everyone who is attending the Virtual Workshop is comfortable and confident with WebEx, and that each session flows seamlessly and smoothly.
